Dear Partner,
Praise the Lord… Praise the Lord… Praise the Lord… Praise is the highest form of prayer, and I am praying for you and all of the Partners of this ministry who are standing with us for the victories God has for each of us individually, for our families, for our churches, for our neighborhoods, for our towns and cities, and for our nation.
God is giving us the opportunity to see our land healed and our financial system restored to a position of prominence and He, through the Holy Spirit, has allowed me to see it will all happen if we act on our faith in accordance with HIS plan.
God stands ready once again to defeat the enemy and drive back the spirit of the antichrist that is using every devious trick in an attempt to get a death grip on each of us who love Jesus. Satan’s ultimate goal is to bring down the United States of America, a nation founded on the principles of faith and God’s Word. And Satan really hates that.
As I studied the Bible, I began to think about the story of Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah… Immediately I saw what I believe is the strategy God is once again wanting to use to defeat the enemies who are storming the gates of our homes, our places of work, and yes, even the doors of our churches.
As I thought about it, I began to understand… You may remember back in October and November, I led 37 days of Prayer live each morning on Facebook. The word began to spread about it, and thousands prayed with me. Remembering those days, I realized that was a time of preparation for a plan God is using to drive back the spirit of the antichrist to give us another opportunity to see His mighty hand at work in and through each of us.
Immediately I saw that what the Holy Spirit had given me months ago would become an integral part of His plan. For the recovery of our nation is all wrapped up in the words of John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.”
Now, MORE THAN EVER, we (you and I) must get it right! And while to the onlooker who has no relationship with Jesus it may look and sound like unconventional warfare, I believe it is exactly what God is calling us to do.
We don’t have to march in the streets. We don’t have to paint and carry protest signs. We don’t have to get into shouting matches with coworkers. Our mission for 2017 is to prepare the way for the Lord of Hosts to do His work in a mighty way.
Think about it… Whoever heard of an army being led by a group of singers and musicians? But sing and play the people of Judah did when the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, three kingdoms that had formed an alliance against Judah, came against them! Here is the true account from the Bible in 2 Chronicles, chapter 20.
Word was rushed to Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, announcing the swift approach of a vast army from the three kingdoms that had formed an alliance against Judah. Jehoshaphat, knowing that his own army was no match for the invaders, turned to God for help. He proclaimed a time of prayer and fasting, and people from throughout the land poured into the capital to take part. The key to what was happening included the people of God coming together.
In the midst of all the people, Jehoshaphat prayed. “O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in Heaven? You rule over kingdoms and nations, and power and might are in Your hand. None can withstand You.” As the king continued, people’s spirits were strengthened. “We know that in the time of calamity, whatever peril it may be, if we stand in Your presence and cry out to You in our distress, You will hear and save us. We have no power against this great army that comes against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You!”
Then a young prophet named Jahaziel spoke with a loud voice, “Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s!’” God had heard and come to answer their prayers.
“You will not need to fight in this battle,” God’s message through Jahaziel continued. “Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you!”
King Jehoshaphat bowed to the ground in worship. The crowd followed the king’s lead, while the priests raised their voices to praise the Lord.
The next morning as the troops made preparations for battle, King Jehoshaphat encouraged them. “Believe in the Lord your God, and so shall you be established. Have faith in His prophets, and so shall you have good success.”
The king consulted with the people, and it was decided that singers should lead the troops into battle. That daring step of faith showed that they believed God would fight for them. Notice that once again, the people of God played a frontline part in the plan God had for their victory.
“Praise the Lord for the beauty of His holiness,” Jehoshaphat instructed the singers as they took their position. “Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.” Another key to victory: They were thanking God in advance for the victory He had promised the day before.
No sooner had they begun to sing and praise than God “set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.”
And while the Bible doesn’t specify what those “ambushes” were, it does explain that the men of those three invading kingdoms began to fight among themselves. First, the men of Ammon and Moab rose up against those of Mount Seir, and when they had destroyed them, the two armies destroyed each other.
When the army of Judah came to a rise in the land overlooking the battlefield, they saw only the destroyed armies of the enemy. There is NO RECORD of any “Praisers” leading the army being hurt in any way in this horrific battle. In fact, for the soldiers of Judah, there was no fight because the battle was not theirs… The enemy was coming against Judah because they hated God. Nothing has changed today. Christians are still attacked because the devil and his crowd still hate the God you and I serve.
Now, More Than Ever, A Victory Celebration! Jehoshaphat and his men gathered so many valuables from the opposing army that it took them three days to collect them all. On the fourth day, they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, which means “the Valley of Praise,” and there they blessed God. Then they returned home with joy, for the Lord had triumphed over their enemies.
THE WORD GOT OUT… The fear of the Lord came on all the neighboring kingdoms when they heard how He had interceded for Judah, and “the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest all around” — a powerful testimony to the power of faith, prayer, and praise.
The SAME POWER is available to us today. And because of the POWER OF PRAYER AND PRAISE and because of the number of letters and phone calls that have come to our office asking that we continue the time of prayer, I recorded a CD that will allow you to have your own time of prayer and praise each day. You may remember that I mentioned it in my last letter.
Partner, the Lord is leading me to do something very special in addition to the CD. Please read the following very carefully: This is my personal invitation for you to join me every Wednesday morning beginning January 18 at 7 AM Eastern (6 AM Central) for a time of LIVE prayer and praise on Facebook. The Lord has led me to do this for 90 days…each Wednesday for 90 days up to Easter! Call your family members and friends and invite them to join us. Let’s be on the front lines, lifting up the name of Jesus as we watch God drive back the powers of darkness from every circumstance of life.
Let there be NO doubt about the plan God has for your life… He sees you victorious over every enemy of your success. I challenge you to settle for nothing less… When you face a problem you had nothing to do with, then in prayer begin to praise God for the victory He has for you… And if you don’t feel confident in how you should pray to prepare the way for the Lord to work, join us each Wednesday morning beginning January 18 at 7 AM Eastern (6AM Central) for a time of LIVE prayer and praise, and let’s watch God’s plan unfold before us.
Let’s go on the attack against whatever it is that threatens to undo us, praising the Lord and thanking Him by faith for the victory, and expect Him to intercede for us.
Now… As a friend and partner with this ministry, you have witnessed how Praise is the voice of faith. NOW, More Than Ever, I challenge you to BELIEVE God has heard your prayers… NOW is the time for us to come together in prayer as we praise God for the victory He has for you. I want you to experience with a renewed faith the excitement of ACTING on your faith when you begin to praise God for the answer to something very important to you even before you see it. That’s what Jehoshaphat and the people did. Let’s come together in prayer as we celebrate the miraculous hand of God at work in and through every circumstance of life.
NOW, More Than Ever, we have been given the opportunity to watch God take sickness from the bodies of His children… Remove uncertainties and doubt from the minds… Remove confusion and strife from the homes… Repair broken promises… Restore financial strength to the lives of His children… And restore broken relationships… The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob stands ready to heal our land, and I believe doing it starts with our Prayer and Praise.
NOW, More Than Ever, let’s witness the Glory of the Lord upon the lives of His people. Greater Works is more than a catch phrase! It is God calling to you and to me to ACT on our faith in ways that will take each of us outside our comfort zones, and yet with each step, I expect you to feel ever more comfortable in His presence… To God Be the Glory!
Please read the following out loud… “Good morning, Father… Good morning, Jesus… Good morning, Holy Spirit… I love You, Lord. I lift my voice… And I worship You and I praise You… I give You honor and I give You glory in this place this morning… I enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and enter into Your courts with praise. You are our God, and we worship You in Spirit and in Truth.” This is how I will be praying each Wednesday.
Now I want you to notice that I have enclosed a Prayer and Praise Sheet. I am asking you to sow your personal Now, More Than Ever Seed Gift into this healing ministry. I want you to pray and sow the exact amount as God leads you. When you do so, I will send you a personal copy of my new Start Your Day With Prayer CD that I mentioned earlier. I believe it will help you jump start 2017. If you have already requested this CD, please allow me to send you another copy for a friend or loved one. I believe it will be a real blessing to them.
Your Partner in Greater Works,
PS. I look forward to hearing from you, and I look forward to you letting me know you joined me and thousands of other Believers who have a grasp on what God is wanting to do for us as a people and a nation as we stand together in Prayer and Praise. Don’t forget to join in Wednesday morning, January 18 at 7 AM EST (6 AM CST) on Facebook, and every morning up to Easter.
God is looking for men and women willing to ACT in Faith Believing by standing on the front lines for the future of their homes and families, their churches, and their towns, cities and states. Let’s do it… Let’s step out in front of the visible circumstances and watch God take care of our enemies… And as we come together in Prayer and Praise, let’s also stand in celebration of the Power of Agreement at work in and through your life in brand new ways.
